Al-Fatiha - an independent aid agency recently featured on British news channel as it delivered aid directly to Syrian refugee camps. Well worth a look at.
Tibetan Center for Human Rights and Democracy - an NGO staffed by exiled Tibetans who publish stories and reports from the lives of those living in occupied Tibet.

Human Rights Watch - a great source of information on whats happening in the world wether your a journalist or just a bit nosey!
WWF - with perhaps the most recognisable logo, WWF has been tackling conservation and combating reduced biodiversity at a global level since 1961.
Greenpeace - one of the most famous NGOs in the world with a reputation for getting things done and being vocal in perusing their targets whilst looking after their own.
